Drink Responsibly
Please drink responsibly and designate a driver. If you are under 21, you shouldn't be drinking! Open or unsealed alcohol containers are NOT allowed in public spaces or vehicles. The legal blood-alcohol-index limit in Virginia Beach is 0.08.
Swimmer Safety
Remember to swim near a lifeguard. Locate your closest lifeguard station in the case of an emergency.
Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service operates 50 stations between 1st Street & 89th Street and Croatan Beach, along the Oceanfront.
Find-A-Kid Program
Many of the hotels and motels in Virginia Beach participate in the Find-A-Kid Wristband Program. This free and voluntary program helps parents quickly locate children that wander off from their families by providing an identification wristband at the front desk to children 10 and under. Be sure to ask your hotel if they participate in the Find-A-Kid Program.
