Sally Noona, CMP

Director, Convention Sales and Marketing

"Know that when you get one of us, you get ALL of us to help create a unique Virginia Beach experience!" A favorite motto of Sally: "Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine."

A Virginia Beach native, Sally says hospitality is in her blood. From her college years at the University of Virginia, where she led historical and prospective tours and played lacrosse, she leapt into CVB sales and began building a reputation for fierce commitment to delivering what’s promised – and then some. Sally joined the Beach team in 1995 and quickly became instrumental in assisting with the city’s transformation into a year-round meeting destination with the advent of the new Virginia Beach Convention Center. Her professional passion is evident in her service to the Virginia Society of Association Executives, which honored her with an Associate of the Year award. A lifelong learner, Sally earned CMP certification in 2010.

The child of two musicians, Sally is creative and an avid supporter of the arts and a sports and exercise enthusiast. When she’s not leading the Virginia Beach team’s sales and marketing efforts, you’ll find Sally on the water with her husband, two daughters and the rest of her clan. She’s a licensed boater with special skills in the kitchen and a flair for Middle Eastern cuisine – her hummus is a big favorite among family and friends.

Market Assignment: All VA State Associations and assistance in all markets to filter to the Team.

Linda Eisan, CHSP, CGMP

Senior Convention Sales Manager

"Longevity brings a little wisdom, even by default."

Linda brings high energy and commitment to meeting her clients’ needs in her role on the Virginia Beach team. Finding her way into the hospitality industry working the front desk, reservations and switchboard at an area hotel during college, she has deep experience with helping government organizations. She has served on the board of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals and has learned to fearlessly and gracefully lead demanding clients.

Linda has a passion for physical fitness – though she claims her knees, hips, shoulders, back and toes are complaining, she’s participated in seven competitive run/walks in the last 10 months. She is currently fostering animals for the Military Pets Foster Project, a program that cares for pets while their owners are deployed. You can find Linda walking her four dogs, gardening, swimming and occasionally slowing down to read on the beach.

Market Assignment: All Corporate accounts; Heritage, Patriotic & Veterans Organizations; Direct Marketing Accounts; Labor Union Organizations and FED National GOV/Military Accounts in all territories. Association accounts outside of vertical assigned markets in the SE Territory, namely, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, & West Virginia.

Dawn Whittaker

Convention Sales Manager

"Touring five hotels, the Convention Center and an attraction in a torrential downpour with thunder and lightning – it’s all worth it when the client site visit is a success."

Dawn and her family are music lovers and big fans of theme parks, visiting Disney World twice a year. A true roller coaster enthusiast, she has visited all of’s top ten U.S. amusement parks. Dawn is just as passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, serving as both her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop Leader and as event coordinator for the Colonial Coast Council of Girl Scouts. In addition to her church, where she offers planning assistance to special events throughout the year, her volunteer work includes Habitat for Humanity, NAACP and the Florida Food Bank.

Market Assignment: All Multicultural Associations; State & Regional Government accounts. All national associations outside vertical assigned markets in the NE Territory, namely, Virginia, DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Delaware, West Virginia and NE Canada.

Scott Warren, CMP, TMP

Convention Sales Manager

Scott Warren comes to the VBCVB with a wide array of Virginia Beach destination experience, having served in roles at the Virginia Beach Convention Center and Visitor Information Center, both divisions operated by the VBCVB. In his role Convention Sales Manager, he manages and develops existing client relationships among the Social, Military, Education, Religious, and Fraternal (SMERF) groups, while simultaneously driving business development efforts to expand to additional niche markets. Through his active involvement in industry associations and trade shows, he is able to generate high visibility of the destination among key decision makers. Previously, Warren served as manager of the Virginia Beach Visitor Information Center where he oversaw operations of the facility and as a sales manager at the Virginia Beach Convention Center where he supervised the first LEED certification for the building

Market Assignment: All associations that are not designated as “Multicultural” in all territories in the following market segments: Religious Organizations; Fraternal and Sports Associations/Organizations; Greek and Non-Greek Letter Societies; Fan Clubs, Hobby and Vocational Organizations; Social Welfare Organizations. All associations outside of vertical assigned markets in the Western Territory, namely, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, North Dakota, South Dakota and Colorado and Western Canada.

Jane White, CSEP

Director of Convention Services

"Whether I’m working on a writing project, a complex knitting pattern or coordinating among high-powered agencies to land eleven helicopters in the Convention Center parking lot within 30 minutes, I love to see a plan through to fruition."

Jane has been around the hospitality industry for most of her working career in some fashion – even in a roundabout way while she was on active duty in the Navy. When she was stationed in Wales, she became a member of the Royal Air Force Sergeant’s Mess Entertainment Committee – responsible for planning monthly events at the Sergeant’s Mess on the base. After she left active duty, she took a position at Columbia University that morphed into an Event Coordinator position and realized that event planning was where she wanted to be in terms of a career. She has been in the business for 20 years professionally, and a few more as a volunteer. Jane has spent 10 years at the Virginia Beach Convention Center as an Event Manager. Jane is passionate about learning, being creative, raising the bar, helping people and embracing life.

In her free time, Jane is an avid knitter and is in the process of writing a novel.

Lynn Huneycutt

Convention Services Manager

I am inspired after each meeting or convention when I receive comments such as “We couldn’t have done it without you” or “Your commitment to excellent customer service was demonstrated in every aspect of our meeting.” That’s what makes all the unusual requests or long hours worth it!

Hailing from a family of nurses, Lynn comes by her love of helping people naturally. For more than 30 years, she’s provided the kind of care and attention that helps people make the most of their time at meetings and conventions, serving 20 of those years on the Virginia Beach CVB team. She is determined to be positive in every negative situation and uses her expertise in meetings services to deliver results that make the difference – her commitment to getting the details right is top notch.

Lynn is a life-long Virginia Beach resident who understands the value of work/life balance. When she’s not in the hallways of the Convention Center or directing key support services, you’ll find her enjoying time with her children, grandchildren and her dog Weston. Whether at the beach or in the mountains, following football, basketball and tennis, or at the baseball field cheering for the grandkids, Lynn says being with family and friends makes her one happy girl.

Eric Logan, CMP

Convention Services / Housing Manager

"I do my best to treat each conventioneer or visitor I meet just as I would a guest in my own home. Providing exceptional service and a unique positive guest experience is my ultimate goal."

Eric’s passion for exceptional customer service is evident in the numerous letters and emails of appreciation he treasures from happy planners and attendees. He began his hospitality career right out of college, traveling to Vermont to take on the enviable task of balancing various service roles with a regular morning ski on the slopes. After two years, Eric returned to his Virginia Beach home to work in banquet, meeting and catering sales management in area hotels, building a 13-year base of experience on the hotel industry side before joining the Virginia Beach team in 2004.

Growing up at the beach has made Eric an outdoor activity lover whose college fraternity memories include lots of time on the sand volleyball court. He now spends quality family time watching his daughter play sports, as well as camping, golfing, enjoying the beach, cooking and landscaping at home. Volleyball is still on Eric’s list of best ways to spend time.
