The Princess Anne Athletic Complex replaces the fields formerly at Princess Anne Park, purchased by Sentara in 2002. The complex is located in the heart of Princess Anne Commons across the street from the Virginia Beach Sportsplex and Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater.

The Field Hockey National Training Center features two artificial, international, competition-quality turf fields. Each field has a complex underground irrigation system and less than 1/16 of an inch crown from the center of the field to the sidelines.

The Virginia Beach National (formerly TPC of Virginia Beach) is a 7,432-yard course designed by Pete Dye for both tournament and public play. Native hardwoods give the course a sense of maturity, and the variety of grasses used in the out of play areas offer a unique look as they wave in the ever-present winds.
