The Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is the official destination marketing organization for Virginia Beach and is responsible for creating vibrant economic growth by selling and promoting Virginia Beach to the world as a premier year-round destination for meetings, conventions, sporting events and leisure travel. We sell Virginia Beach! No other organization advertises the destination nationally and markets the destination at regional, national and international trade shows. The CVB also works with travel and consumer magazines from national and international radio, television a& newspapers, helping raise awareness of what Virginia Beach has to offer.  

Visitors, meeting and tour groups, conventions and sports make a tremendous impact on our local economy, directly benefiting our residents. Tourism adds to the quality of life for those who living in Virginia Beach and the surrounding areas. Family attractions such as IFLy, Topgolf, The Adventure Park, David & Buster’s and the Apex entertainment complex draw patrons from our visitor-base yet the same attractions, and many more, are available to everyone all year long. Our abundant natural resources offer a wide range of outdoor activities, from biking and hiking at First Landing State Park or the Back Bay Natural Wildlife Preserve to kayaking and standup paddle boarding the many waterways found throughout the city. While best known for our wide, clean beaches, research shows that our visitors also enjoy our unique culinary and retail offerings.
