(Virginia Beach, Va., October 29, 2014) – The Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) will host a free speakers forum on Thursday, Nov. 6,  2014 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Designed with travel and tourism industry businesses in mind, this forum will provide an opportunity to hear from experts in two increasingly important focus areas of a business’ digital presence: reputation management and search engine optimization (SEO). Following their presentations, the speakers will open the floor for questions.

Tourism is a driving force for the Virginia Beach economy, creating jobs and generating significant economic impact. In 2013, tourism revenue for Virginia Beach reached a record $1.3 billion.  Local tourism-supported jobs totaled 12,257 while local and state tourism-related tax revenues reached $108 million.
