May’s Parlor, Oceanfront

They also serve top-notch espresso from La Colombe, featuring flavors such as vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, mocha, and special seasonal varieties. Cozy up to one of their delicious latte specialties, like the mocha or chai tea latte, or, if you’re wanting to cool off after a long beach day, go for a refreshing iced coffee or tea.

Three Ships Coffee, ViBe Creative District

Three Ships Coffee in the eclectic ViBe Creative District, is perfect for early morning pick-me-ups and mid-day coffee and dessert. Order a classic Pungo Latte, an iced latte made with their delicious house-roasted coffee and sweetened with seasonal berries, like strawberries or blueberries, that come straight from Pungo farms. Try one of the specialty lattes, like the golden milk latte, made with turmeric and ginger-spiced tea, or the earthy hōjicha latte, made with roasted green tea, served with your choice of milk. Although Three Ships doesn’t offer much of a sweets menu, you can never go wrong with one of their melt-in-your-mouth biscuits, which can be topped with jam, honey or butter.

Bad Ass Coffee Company, ViBe Creative District

Coffee lovers who can’t get enough of Hawaii’s famous Kona Coffee & Tea can enjoy a cup at Bad Ass Coffee Company, located in the ViBe Creative District. Coffee creations at Bad Ass are so sweet they may be mistaken for coffee and dessert all in one. For something strong, go for the Cuban coffee, which is espresso served with caramelized sugar or journey into the sweet side with a Koffee Kooler, like the Mocha Kick, made with dark and white chocolate and decorated with a delicious dark chocolate swirl or the Carmel Kick, topped with a generous amount of caramel sauce.

What’s a good cup of coffee without a donut? Pair your sweet latte with an equally sweet malasada donut, a Portuguese-style donut sprinkled to perfection with cinnamon sugar.

While you can’t go wrong with any of their coffee drinks, it can be hard to settle in on just one. Luckily, with their coffee flight, you don’t have to. Dive into a sampling of four of their creations, like the latte, macchiato, mocha and coco loco cold brew.

The Bee & The Biscuit, Pungo

With uniquely flavored creations, like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, honey lavender and Lucky Charms, you can’t go wrong with any of their specialty lattes, which can be ordered hot or iced. For something with a bit more kick, try their Irish Coffee – a perfect blend of Jameson Whiskey, Irish cream, brown sugar, and fresh whipped cream.

Pair your sweet coffee with a sweet treat, like the blueberry zucchini cupcake topped with lemon buttercream frosting, a big-enough-to-share warm cinnamon roll, or one of their mason jar creations of the day. If you’re looking to split an entrée, go for the stuffed French toast, filled with a cheese-mascarpone-ricotta filling and drizzled with fresh orange sauce.
