Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum/de Witt Cottage

The Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum, located in the de Witt Cottage was built in 1895. Today, inside the Museum, the visitor can view examples of the evolution of the art of decoy carving using primitive tools to the more elaborate and expressive contemporary carvings and artwork of today. Memorabilia of the old hunt clubs adorns shelving throughout the Museum. The Museum has two interactive computer exhibits which provide educational and artistic programs. There are older collectable children's books for the child in all of us. We can also find those hard to locate books for you on the Web. We accept most major credit cards and out of town checks, Just look for the pink Beach Cottage on the west side of Pacific Ave between 27th and 28th streets. Please enjoy yourself during your stay, and all you locals we have parking in back of the shop off 28th street. We are open daily, late nights during the summer.
