Epic thrills meet funky beach vibes every summer when Jackalope Fest takes over the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Come hang out in the sand for 3 days celebrating extreme sports with live music, delicious foods and heart-pumping experiences. Watch as professional skateboarders, BASE jumpers, boulderers and more seem to defy physics and gravity during high-adrenaline competitions and demonstrations. Cheer on the athletes as adaptive skateboarding and inline skating contests take to the half-pipe and skimboarders take to the ocean.
Savor coastal flavors at the numerous food trucks and nearby restaurants, or sip a local brew at the beer garden. If you are looking for some adrenaline for yourself, sign up for a surf lesson or take part in one of the community surf sessions. Keep your eyes open for daily pop-up shops and brand activations. This family-friendly festival is free to attend, but keep in mind that some fan experiences cost a fee.
