Crowned “Best New Outdoor Event” by the Southern Extreme Bull Riding Association in 2023, the pulse-pounding action of the Bulls and Barrels Beach Rodeo is returning to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront! Be there as some of the country’s best bull riders and barrel racers compete on the sand, vying for a $12,000 prize and the coveted “Best of the Beach” buckle. In addition to thrilling bull riding and barrel racing action, this family-friendly extravaganza features mini bull riding, entertaining rodeo clowns, and much more. Don’t forget to sign your kids up for the always-exciting Mutton Busting competition!
Virginia Beach Bulls and Barrels Beach Rodeo is sanctioned by the Southern Extreme Bull Riding Association (SEBRA).
General admission bleacher tickets are available as well as a VIP package upgrade that includes tickets, an event t-shirt, and a rodeo clown meet-and-greet.
Virginia Beach's "Ride Share" transportation program provides for infrastructure to support on demand services such as: Uber, Lyft, and Freebie. The easternmost northbound lane on Atlantic Ave. from 9th to 12th Street has been designated a drop off/pick up zone for this purpose.
