Cheer on competitors at the Virginia Beach Field House during the Virginia Beach National Games (Nov. 5-6), the first and only national wrestling event in the state opening competition to middle school, high school and open divisions, all competing f. This nonprofit organization is run by former competitors – wrestlers, coaches and officials – who have poured their heart into the sport for years.

Santa's Seaside Village is back again at the Resort Beach (Nov. 27Dec. 31), bringing coastal vibes to the festive season. McDonald’s Holiday Lights at the Beach (Nov. 18 – Jan. 1) is a winter staple at the Resort Beach, welcoming thousands of families each year. Children of all ages can take in the three mile spectacle of nautically themed holiday lights with the accompaniment of a selection of holiday music narrating the light show of festive fish, frolicking dolphins, surfing Santa and more. The “fantasea” of lights is sure to dazzle and amaze travelers.
The holidays are coming to Virginia Beach’s downtown district, when Santa Claus is Coming to Town (Center) (Nov. 19). Join the free family friendly festivities, including visits with Santa, a laser light show, carolers, balloon artists and the illumination of a 30-foot Christmas tree.
Those wanting to get an early start on their holiday shopping list will find inspiration at the 35th Annual Virginia Beach Christmas Market (Nov. 25-27), named one of the “100 Best Classic and Contemporary Craft Shows in the United States.” A $7 fee grants three days’ admission to browse the works of more than 250 artisans from 25 states offering fine arts, pottery, jewelry, stained glass, wood crafts, toys, photography, fiber arts and Christmas collectibles. This amazing market, located inside the Virginia Beach Convention Center in the heart of the Resort Beach, is a great place to start the hunt for unique one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts, personalized stocking stuffers or a stunning decor for the holidays.
