When you want to fly, you’ve got choices:
Norfolk International Airport (ORF): Nonstop flights from 45 U.S. destinations land here, offering year-round and seasonal flights. The airport is serviced by nine airlines, including American, Delta and Breeze Airways. Even better, the airport is just 25 minutes from the Oceanfront. Newport News-Williamsburg Airport (PHF): Less than one hour from the Oceanfront, this regional airport is serviced by American Airlines, offering several flights daily to Charlotte. By Car
Virginia Beach can be reached via major highways, including I-64, U.S. 460, or U.S. 58 from the west and I-85, I-95 or U.S. 17 from the north and south. For a scenic drive, take the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (U.S. 13), a 17-mile span offering spectacular views. Note: tolls apply.
By Train
Amtrak offers daily service to Norfolk and Newport News on the Northeast Regional line, from such cities as Washington, D.C., New York and Philadelphia. Amtrak bus service connects to the Hampton Roads Transit bus stop in Virginia Beach.
By Bus
To reach Virginia Beach by bus, there are several coach bus service options, including Greyhound, FlixBus and SprinterBus.
