Zeke's Beans & Bowls is Virginia Beach's destination for GOURMET POUR OVER COFFEE, ACAI BOWLS and the ONLY place in town to get our famous POKE BOWLS! Our INTELLIGENTSIA COFFEE is organic, direct trade, in season and comes in fresh each week! Experience coffee like never before. With each pour over brew, your beans are ground to order and served to you piping hot! We are also proud to say that we are the FIRST to carry Shadowlawn's own THREE SHIPS COFFEE, roasted right here in the neighborhood!
Our ACAI BOWLS are made to order and contain nothing but fresh fruit, homemade granola and the world's best ACAI straight from Brazil! Our POKE BOWLS (a traditional Hawaiian style, sushi grade tuna, served raw and marinated) have been compared to the authentic Hawaiian recipes, straight from the islands (mainly because our chef is too, an authentic Hawaiian...straight from the islands.) Many are catching on to our flavor, but no one can duplicate our style!
We also serve smoothies, fresh juices, Sugar Plum baked goods and homemade VEGAN treats!

Captain Trick Standing grew up fishing the local waters of Virginia and North Carolina. For over 35 years he has crewed and guided parties to some incredible fishing off the Virginia and Carolina Capes. His father's boat, "Wahoo", was one of the early charter boats to fish from Rudee Inlet in the mid 60's. Since becoming a licensed Captain in 1981 Captain Trick has fished southern Mexico, Costa Rica, the Bahamas as well as local waters scoring in the last two Billfish Grand Slams recorded in the state of Virginia. Whether it's deep dropping for Tiles, trolling for Tuna, fishing for big Blue Marlin or Tournament Fishing Captain Trick Standing can put you on the fish.

Esoteric is the realization of a VB lovin’ husband and wife entrepreneurial team with a passion for good and rare craft beer and eclectic and curated foods. We also really dig aesthetics and under-designed spaces which we think facilitates a return to the art of food, beverage and conversation. You won’t find a television in our space but you will find some serious charm and preserved architectural detail in our 1920’s era building. We are fortunate to have a very rare and precious, large green space on our property where we, along with our super rad and carefully selected fellow businesses, grow much of our food.We think the dining experience can be celebratory, sensual, intellectual, exquisite and empowering. We wish to respect food and drink, pay homage to its experience and once again facilitate a local community of those that want to be a part of this movement.
