Stretching along the Atlantic Ocean from Croatan to the South and up to the North end, the Oceanfront is where the action is. Live music, street performers, outdoor cafes, hot dog and snow cone vendors, and our famous three-mile boardwalk perfect for rollerblading and jogging. Sunbathers come for the wide sandy beaches. Surfers come for the waves. And everyone comes for people-watching.
Lifeguards are on duty from mid-May to mid-September 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. a week. Permanent restrooms are adjacent to the boardwalk at 17th, 24th, and 30th Streets and are open all year.

This tour is more than just "Stand & Paddle." We give in-depth knowledge of the proper mechanics and techniques needed to make you an efficient paddler. We follow a route based on Mother Nature and will be sure to highlight all the cool sites as we go. On this 2 Hour tour we have seen dolphins, bald eagles, deer, seals, river otters, and the list goes on. It's a lot of fun! Enjoy this eco friendly way of exploring nature at it's finest.

We supply: proper paddleboard, adjustable paddle, personal flotation device, ample instruction, techniques, and a calm Rudee Inlet to paddle on.

Old Beach Farmers Market (OBFM) is a fresh outdoor marketplace in the heart of the resort area, located in the ViBe Creative District. Historically held in the parking lot of Croc's Bistro, starting on August 3rd, the Old Beach Farmers Market will be held at the 18th street parklet, on 18th Street between Cypress and Mediterranean Avenue!

We feature seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables meats eggs seafood cheeses a wide assortment of baked goods, artisan breads, savory foods from local chefs soaps flowers.Founded in 2008, Old Beach Farmers Market is run entirely by volunteers as an independent 501(c)6 organization. We support local family farms, watermen, and Virginia wineries. Old Beach Farmers Market is a certified Virginia Green market, encouraging eco-friendly practices.
