Our stores convey the atmosphere of an old world European market, all under one roof, where you can visit an array of departments: our old-style butcher shop and fish market, bakery, produce and floral stands, and delicatessen. Feel free to help yourself to a sample of freshly brewed coffee while you stroll down the wide aisles of our store. The open air feel of our market presents a feast for the senses as colors and fragrant smells fill the atmosphere and classical music plays wafts through the air. Our staff is on hand to answer all your food questions and to talk about the day’s fresh offerings. You will find it refreshing to have all of your perishables available unpackaged, allowing you to select just what you want. It's been a long time since Virginia Beach had a real ice cream shop. Now, Gerald's Ice Cream Bar recreates the experience with all‑natural, high-quality ice cream handmade every day on site. All served in a contemporary black and white soda shop environment, where the whole family can sit comfortably and share delightful taste sensations year-round.

Make and Ride Surf Exchange

Our mission is to build a community of surfers with a deeper appreciation for the sport of surfing. We do this by inviting surfers young and old--experienced and beginners-- to partake in the functional art form of surfboard shaping. One of our experienced shaping instructors will take time to understand your needs and goals in order to help you design your perfect board. Then we'll hand-craft your own custom board together!
Our experienced team of board-builders will fiberglass your board with your personalized artwork and let you know when the board is ready for pick-up!
Hand-shaping lessons are typically complete either in two separate 4-hour sessions or a single 8-hour session.
We also offer custom surfboards and surfboard repairs.
