Get off the Beaten Path and explore the natural side of Virginia Beach. Guided boat tour with a Virginia Certified Ecotour Guide! We will immerse you in nature. Experience the abundant wildlife, unique ecosystems, natural communities and amazing natural beauty that lies hidden in plain sight just beyond the beach! Experience "The Green Sea" in a unique and intimate way on a private tour aboard one of our two boats. Freshwater marsh, maritime forest, pocosins, and swamp are just a few of the natural environments to experience and photograph. Bald Eagles, Osprey, Great Egrets, American Bitterns, Bobcat, River Otters, Mink, and Wild Horses are just a few of the animals we may encounter.
All tours are private with 1-6 guests and can range from 2-4 hours. Choose between three destinations:
Back Bay/Knott's Island Bay/False Cape;
North Landing River;
Monkey Island Rookery (Apr. - July)
Start times are flexible, although mornings and late afternoons are best for wildlife viewing and light conditions. It also tends to be cooler during the summer months earlier in the morning and later in the afternoon!
Join us for a private tour. Enjoy the outdoors while relaxing on the water and experience beautiful scenery and view native birds and animals. Along the way, learn about some of the fascinating local history of the area.
