The Military Aviation Museum, (MAM) houses one of the largest collections in the world of legendary military aircraft from World War I & II through the Korean War. The majority of the aircraft are airworthy and fly throughout the year.  Go back in time and view American, British, Russian and German airplanes, (WARBIRDS) that flew during the great war years. Get up close to such aircraft as the Mustang, Corsair, Spitfire, and many more. The aircraft are often pulled outside the art deco hangar's and taken up for a flight by many of the volunteer pilots. The MAM is located just 20-minutes from the oceanfront in the southern portion of Virginia Beach at the Virginia Beach Airport. There are no ropes or barriers around the planes.   105 + acres of open green space, with a free picnic area and dinosaur park. Special events are often held on the weekends.  The MAM plays host to many private events, such as weddings, dinners, dances, 5K fundraisers just to name a few. Check out our website for more information.
