Calm Water Dolphin Tour with Kayak Nature Tours
We have a calm water dolphin kayaking trip on the calm waters of Broad Bay in First Landing State Park at 64th Street. This is our easiest trip and it is very family-friendly since we have children as young as the age of 2 years kayak with us. We launch into this calm bay and paddle a mile to where dolphins are known to congregate. We wait and explore the area until we see dolphins which are known to frequent this particular area. We estimate there is a 70 to 90% chance of seeing dolphins, however, there is no guarantee of a sightings.

This is our easiest dolphin tour and best sunset location and we frequently organize this trip in the evening, three or four days a week. We also do this trip one or two days a week in the morning and noon. Be aware that evening trips can get rained out at the last minute because of our local weather pattern of warm and humid with a chance of evening showers.
This trip is $53/person.

Our 2 1/2 hr. Dolphin Adventure is our most popular tour. Beginning in late April through October, you can experience dolphins up close and personal. The trip is $62/person and includes all kayak gear. No experience is necessary and it is a great family or group outing. Advance reservations are required!

We offer a 2 1/2-hour Flatwater trip at First Landing State Park, Back Bay Wildlife Refuge, and the Northwest River. Each trip is $53/person, all kayak gear is included.

We offer All-day trips to Lake Drummond in the Great Dismal Swamp Wildlife Refuge, the Deserted Beaches of the Eastern Shore and Knots Is. NC to Carova on the Outer Banks. The cost is $110-$120/person and includes all kayak gear, snacks, lunch, and drinks.
