A short drive from the Oceanfront is Hunt Club Farm, Virginia Beach’s premier farm attraction with over 50 acres of fun activities for the whole family. Visit the only Petting Farm in the area and meet mini highland cows, goats, pigs, donkeys, and llamas. Explore our BirdWalk Aviary and have a chat with one of our over 500 pretty parakeets. You can even get a panoramic view of the farm from above on our TreeWalk Adventure. On this in-air playground, kids of all ages can traverse the treetops on a series of connected, netted bridges and travel to animal-themed treehouses to learn about life in the branches above.
When it’s snack time, take a slide to the ground to enjoy our unique farm market, offering gorgeous plants and flowers, novelties, handmade crafts, and delicious food items. Hunt Club Farm provides educational field trips and nature and agricultural-based entertainment, such as pony rides, farm festivals, a Harvest Fair, an Easter Egg Hunt, and our ever-popular Haunted Hunt Club Farm. Hunt Club Farm’s agricultural-based entertainment features a Spring Fling and Easter Egg Hunt, Harvest Fair, and our ever-popular Haunted Hunt Club Farm. We also offer field trips and guided tours, birthday and private parties, and for ages 6-12, our fantastic Summer Farm Camp. You can even take a pony ride on one of our equine beauties. At Hunt Club Farm, we aim to make your visit a time to remember by offering something for all walks of life and every generation.

Our seasonal Farm Market is open from April through December, featuring specialty food items, novelty season-specific products, and gifts. Come out to the farm in the spring for a gorgeous hanging plant, some farm-made pickles, or a picnic snack. Visit us for our ever-popular Harvest Fair and Haunted Hunt Club Farm in the fall. Pick a pumpkin from our giant Pumpkin Patch, take a pony ride or hayride, visit the vendors on the weekends, and get ready to scream on our Halloween Festival nights. Then, come back to sip some hot chocolate as you stroll through our festive holiday market in December. We know you will love the variety of unique gifts and holiday decorations we offer, including handmade wreaths and ornaments.

Hunt Club Farm Market is open to the public.
Petting Farm admission is $15 per person (ages two and under are no charge) and includes our BirdWalk Aviary and TreeWalk Adventure. Pony rides are $10 per ride. We can accommodate riders up to age 12 or 120 lbs. Parking is free and handicap parking is available.

The newest attraction, the Miniature Highland Cow Cuddle Experience! Get up close with these adorable, fluffy cows in a one-of-a-kind, hands-on encounter perfect for all ages. Guests can pet, brush, and snuggle these gentle animals while learning more about the breed from experienced handlers. It’s a heartwarming experience the whole family will enjoy!
