Founded by Vickie Shufer in 1986, Eco Images offers a variety of experiences to help others connect with nature and enhance their appreciation of the outdoors. She launched her career with the publication of A Coastal Ecology Coloring Book and A Naturalist's Field Guide to Coastal Communities in 1986. Since then she has published a number of nature-related books, both for herself and others. In 1994, she took over the publication of The Wild Foods Forum newsletter, a quarterly publication that provides information on identifying and using wild plants for food.In addition to publications, Vickie also leads groups on nature tours and hosts foraging trips to various locations.
