Commune is a sustainable eatery, bakery and cafe in the heart of Virginia Beach's Arts District. We source over 90% of our ingredients from local farms and producers that use sustainable techniques and make everything from scratch. Commune was opened by Kevin Jamison who was farming organically for many years before venturing into the restaurant business. We believe that the food we choose to eat is very important for the health of our environment and us. Therefore, using the freshest, locally grown and sustainable ingredients is our top priority to the extent that if its not available locally, we don't use it. And the best part of this is that it just happens that this type of food is also the most flavorful!
