Commonwealth Brewing Company is a local family owned, full production craft brewery housed inside a former fire and rescue station. Nestled in a funky beach cottage community (flip flops are mandatory) on the Chesapeake Bay called Chic’s Beach, we believe that beer should be adventurous, diverse, extremely drinkable, and sometimes even wild. We focus on complexity, deep flavors, and style mashups that keep you guessing what we’ll think up next. We think there is a beer for everyone and find no greater pleasure than when our craft beguiles a friend to try something new. We uphold rustic farmhouse traditions, huge hop American styles, and the complex depths of wild fermentation. Our facility is complete with a truly amazing open-air tasting room, private event space, outdoor bier garden, and sour barrel house that will hold over 200 barrels. We host live music and food trucks weekly and offer a variety of outdoor leisure games. Come drink the Wealth.

Bayville Farms Park is a 68-acre park established in 1978 through the cooperative efforts of the City of Virginia Beach, the National Park Service, and Virginia's Department of Conservation and Recreation. Of special interest is the disc golf course, the first such course in Virginia Beach.
