Bayville Farms Park

Location: Virginia Beach

Bayville Farms Park is a 68-acre park established in 1978 through the cooperative efforts of the City of Virginia Beach, the National Park Service, and Virginia's Department of Conservation and Recreation. Of special interest is the disc golf course, the first such course in Virginia Beach.

Lake Lawson / Lake Smith Natural Area

Location: Virginia Beach

The Lake Lawson/Lake Smith Natural Area is a 42-acre preserve with more than 12,000 feet of shoreline located in the Bayside Borough of Virginia Beach at the corner of Shell Road and Northampton Blvd. The area is a popular fishing destination.

- New boat ramp
- Formalized car and boat trailer parking
- Stabilization along the shoreline to prevent erosion and re-establish - native vegetation
- Several fishing and overlook platforms
- Floating crew dock
- Pedestrian Bridge to connect the north and south parcel
- Renovations to the existing soft surface trail along with installation of hard surface trails
- New playground and picnic shelter

LeGrande Slam Sportfishing Charters

Location: Virginia Beach

The Boat:The LeGrande Slam is a Custom 27 foot Judge Yacht, built by Bill Judge in Denton, MD. This is a great fishing platform with the latest in safety gear and electronics.Fishing:In our inshore waters you will find the likes of cobia, striped bass, spadefish, red drum, black drum, flounder, amberjack, jack crevalle, barracuda, and a variety of sharks, bluefish, spanish mackerel, sheepshead, tautog, sea bass, spot, croaker, speckled trout, and gray trout.Family Fishing:If you are looking for a relaxing near shore day with the family, we suggest trolling for bluefish and Spanish mackerel. This type of fishing will provide action for the whole family. We will troll the beaches in search of tide rips, and diving birds.Evening Cruises:Chesapeake Bay / Cape Henry Dolphin Watching: Are you visiting the area, or have family coming to town?
