Atlantic Park Surf
Covering over 4.3 acres, with a 2.67 acre lagoon, Atlantic Park Surf is the first Wavegarden Cove Surf Lagoon in North America and the only human-made wave park in the world this close to the actual ocean. The surf lagoon has the ability to generate up to 1,000 surf-able waves per hour – as high as six feet for experienced surfers and as low as one foot for beginners.
The “Beach” provides a beach club environment, where surfers can enjoy time around their sessions and non-surfers can purchase daily beach passes and enjoy the atmosphere. So sign up the family for surf lessons, or sit back in a beachside cabana and enjoy the vibes: The choice is yours.
A unique lodging experience will be located adjacent to the Surf Lagoon, with an awesome vantage point to view surfing action while enjoying comfortable and modern amenities. Relax in an upscale community lounge, or chill by the elevated private pool deck overlooking the lagoon. Guests can also grab a bite at Milk & Honey, a new Southern-inspired restaurant on-site that’s perfect for refueling between surf sessions.
The Dome
The new Dome honors its storied legacy while making waves as Virginia Beach’s legendary entertainment epicenter. After almost 30 years, The Dome is back in all of its glory and making waves as an iconic Oceanfront music experience once again.
The Dome’s design, complete with retractable giant doors, allows the venue to transform from an intimate music hall to an expansive outdoor amphitheater. Not only does this allow it to be adaptable, but it makes it possible for the venue to transform from an indoor capacity of 3,500 to an indoor/outdoor experience with a total capacity of 5,000.
On non-event days, visitors can enjoy the outdoor space as a welcoming community park and outdoor gathering spot. Be on the lookout for upcoming concerts, comedy shows, and much much more.
