Presented by the Virginia Beach Cultural Affairs Department and created by Australian creative team Skunk Control, Where Wonder Grows: Sanctuary is a large-scale outdoor art experience inspired by the wonder and complexity of the natural world. The installation is free to visit, and will be on view Oct. 17 - Dec. 16.
More than 4,000 individual elements come together to create an environment filled with movement, light, color and sound. It will be located at Mount Trashmore Park, 310 Edwin Dr. near shelter 3 in the southeast corner of the park.
Join the artist and Cultural Affairs for a FREE community celebration of the opening of Where Wonder Grows: Sanctuary at Mount Trashmore Park from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17! More details on activities to follow.
