From the Armenian plains to the Australian outback, from Havana to Shanghai, songs of home express longing, identity, and belonging. Through jazz reinterpretation, Veronica Swift and Matt Baker explore how different cultures define home, and how music keeps home alive across distance, diaspora, and time.
"Songs of Home & Belonging" is presented as part of the Zeiders American Dream Theater's annual Vocal Jazz Summit, a premier performance and education conference created to serve emerging and established vocalists, industry leaders, and jazz lovers with an immersive experience of growth and connection.
