The Hookz, an eclectic rock band from Virginia Beach, have been captivating audiences with their energetic live performances and genre-blurring sound since 2016.

Fusing old-fashioned rock n' roll with alt-rock and funk, the band composes songs that strike a deep chord with their listeners.

Known for their improvisational-fueled weekly live performances, The Hookz have carved out a dedicated following locally and beyond with their blend of powerful guitar riffs, introspective lyrics, and unapologetically authentic style. Whether on stage or in the studio, The Hookz continue to push musical boundaries, solidifying them as a staple of the Virginia Beach rock scene.

About Ynot Wednesday
Ynot Wednesday, presented by Southern Auto Group, returns for its eighteenth season! This outdoor summer concert series takes place on the Sandler Center Outdoor Plaza every Wednesday from 5pm - 9pm. 

Over twelve weeks, visitors will enjoy a musical panorama of live local bands showcasing a diversity of genres from pop, country, big brass, Motown, rock, and more. Alongside free music, guests can purchase food, water, and soft drinks from title sponsor Ynot Italian, offering delicious pizza, sandwiches, and gelato all season long. Beer, wine, and craft cocktails will also be available for purchase.

Guests can plan to interact with our many sponsors and vendors, including Sinclair Communications, Southern Auto Group, Cycle World Powersports, Cannability Consulting, and more!

Feeling the summer heat? Venture inside the Sandler Center to cool off, visit the restrooms, or take a gallery stroll through the public art displayed on the second and third-floor lobbies. The Kids Craft Corner in the Miller Studio will also be open for families to enjoy make-and-take art projects and activities*.
