The tradition returns to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront with all new displays, two additional blocks of lights, and a new 600 ft. LED tunnel.
Jumping fish, musical crabs, and jolly elves dance in lights against the backdrop of the moonlit Atlantic Ocean. Highlighted by a Surfing Santa, color-changing archways, light fixtures that pay tribute to the region's Armed Forces community, and a 40-foot dancing-light Christmas tree, the 2025 BayPort Credit Union Holiday Lights at the Beach, presented by Food Lion, offers wondrous fun for the entire family.
The 2025 BayPort Credit Union Holiday Lights at the Beach, presented by Food Lion, will again utilize timed entry to minimize wait times. Guests must purchase tickets in advance for a specific day and time, available at beacheventsvb.com.
In the spirit of the season, join Food Lion on Sunday, December 10 for a special Food Lion Feeds night. Since 2001, the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation has supported programs and events that focus on alleviating food insecurity in the towns and cities where they operate through the donation of product or Food Lion gift Cards. On Sunday, December 10, Food Lion Feeds will collect donations of non-perishable food and money with proceeds benefiting Southeastern Virginia and Eastern Shore Food Banks. The suggested donation is a minimum of 5 non-perishable food items or $10.

- Vehicle queue begins on Atlantic Avenue at 21st Street and proceeds South towards Rudee Loop. Follow all event and traffic signs to the entrance of the light show
- All vehicles must observe traffic regulations posted on Atlantic Avenue and on the Boardwalk
- Pedestrians are prohibited on the Boardwalk while the show is in progress each night
- Passengers must remain in their vehicles at all times
- Vehicles are prohibited from stopping or parking on the Boardwalk
- BayPort Credit Union Holiday Lights on the Beach, presented by Food Lion is held rain or shine. The Show may be suspended or postponed due to severe weather or in case of a forcast of severe weather.
