Visitor Information

With a commitment to quality service for our residents and guests, Virginia Beach operates two visitor information centers at 2100 Parks Avenue and at First Landing State Park. These facilities are open daily with extended summer operating hours.

In addition, two kiosk information booths located in the resort area operate Memorial Day to Labor Day. At these locations information is provided on lodging, restaurants, attractions, events and recreational opportunities.

Regular Visitor Center Hours: 9am to 5pm
Extended Summer Hours: 9am to 7pm from mid-June till Labor Day

Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel Center:
First island of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Open daily from 9am to 5pm and in the summer from 10am to 6pm. Closed fall and winter holidays.

Chesapeake Bay Center:
First Landing State Park

Open daily from 9am to 5pm. Closed fall and winter holidays and on the weekends during December, January and February.

Seasonal Oceanfront Visitor Information Kiosks:
17th Street Kiosk at 17th Street and the boardwalk (at the Dairy Queen). Open daily Friday before Memorial Day till Labor Day from 9am to 7pm.
24th Street Kiosk at 24th Street and Atlantic Avenue. Open Friday before Memorial Day till Labor Day from 9am to 7pm.
