Ring in 2026 at Last Night on the Town at Town Center of Virginia Beach. This popular celebration features The Band Perry with special guest funk and alt-pop group Ripe. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with free family activities, including a kids’ dance contest for ages 12 and under and an LED-lit dance floor. Live music starts at 9 p.m. For an elevated experience, VIP tickets ($268.61 per person) feature main stage views, a curated menu by Cantina Loredo, complimentary caricature portraits and a champagne toast at midnight.

Midnight Lotus Ball

Welcome the new year at the Midnight Lotus Ball at The Historic Cavalier Hotel, where twinkling lights and elegant décor set the scene. Headlined by the acclaimed 10-piece band Re-Drum, this 21+ celebration also features Midnight Rain, a Taylor Swift tribute band, and jazz vocalist Desiree Jordan. Between sets, guests can catch captivating water orb acrobatic dancers performing in the hotel’s historic plunge pool. Peabody’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot” New Year’s Eve

Close out 2025 at Peabody’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot” New Year’s Eve, a glam celebration at Peabody’s Night Club. Headlined by DJs AC and Nature, this 18+ party kicks off at 7 p.m. and runs through 2 a.m. Raise a glass during the midnight champagne toast (21+) and revel in the live ball drop as the countdown reaches zero. The Rocking Through the Ages NYE Party is a multi-venue celebration spanning three of the hottest spots in Virginia Beach: The Shack on 8th, Chix on the Beach and Waterman’s Surfside Grille. DJs will be spinning hits from every decade, including disco, pop, grunge and glam. Your ticket includes access to all three locations, complimentary coat check and free transportation between venues. A late-night menu will also be available. This 21+ celebration will light up the Oceanfront, so dress to impress. Doors open at 9 p.m. and tickets are $43.23.

Virginia Beach New Year’s Eve Bar Crawl

Ring in 2026 with the New Year’s Eve Bar Crawl in Virginia Beach. Gather your squad and make your way from bar to bar for track-spinning DJs, creative cocktails and high-energy vibes. Enjoy pulsing music, drink specials and a midnight champagne toast. Tickets start at $30.65 and allow entry to all participating venues. Check-in runs from 6–9 p.m., giving you plenty of time to get the night in motion. The crawl spans Pacific and Atlantic Avenues and may include fan-favorite venues like Seaside Raw Bar and CP Shuckers Café & Raw Bar.

New Year’s Eve at the Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront

New Year’s Eve Party with WonderLand at Hot Tuna

Celebrate the new year at Hot Tuna with live music from WonderLand, one of the region’s top local bands. Get ready for a night packed with upbeat party music and all-around celebratory vibes. Doors open at 3 p.m. and WonderLand takes the stage at 9:30 p.m. Tickets start at $28.52 per person. VIP packages let you kick things up a notch with a three-course dinner. The party keeps rolling until 12:30 a.m., making it a fun-filled way to usher in 2026.

Radio 80s New Year’s Bash @ Murphy’s Irish Pub

Raise a pint at the Radio 80s New Year’s Bash at Murphy’s Irish Pub. On the stage is Radio 80s, a live band specializing in New Wave and Alternative hits from such icons as Devo, Prince, Tommy Tutone, Soft Cell and A-ha. It’s going to be totally rad. Grab your neon jelly bracelets and your acid-washed jeans. The celebration kicks off at 9 p.m. and keeps the fun going straight through to 1 a.m.

New Year’s Eve Experience at Holiday Inn

Welcome 2026 in style at the New Year’s Eve Experience at the Holiday Inn & Suites North Beach. This oceanfront celebration includes a festive dinner buffet, an open bar and plenty of time to dress up and settle in before the fun begins. Dance the night away with the city’s own Hotcakes. You’ll be on your feet all night as they belt out favorites like “Shut Up and Dance,” “Uptown Funk” and “Cake by the Ocean.” Overnight packages include a one-night stay for two, dinner, open bar, late-night bites, live music, dancing and a midnight toast. Rates start at $484 per night (plus taxes and fees), with check-in starting at 4 p.m.
