Public cruises are for smaller groups, or to buy your tickets individually with prices starting at $50 per person. Your group will be paired with other parties to fill the boat. Please keep in mind that there are only 10 pedal stations at the bar, but plenty of room for up to 20 people with our forward lounge area.

Additional Info For Public Cruises:

We require a minimum of 8 people for a public cruise and we will do our best to group smaller parties together to meet the minimum.

If the minimum is not met within a reasonable time, we will contact you to reschedule, cancel, or purchase the remaining seats to meet the minimum.

We cannot hold your time slot for a public cruise until the minimum of 8 has been met. If you would like to guarantee your time slot, please purchase the 8 tickets regardless of your party size. We may also still ask you to reschedule to combine public groups regardless of your party size.

If you are booking a special event on a public cruise, please consider booking privately or be mindful of other guests. We cannot guarantee your party is the only group on the boat unless you book a private cruise. You will be subject to the rules for a public cruise.

Public Cruises will be taxed at VB’s admissions tax rate of 10%

Additional Info For Private Cruises:

If you would like to decorate for a special event, please let us know in the booking notes. We can make special accommodations to assist with decorating the boat.

Private cruisers can bring, kegs, pre-mixed cocktails, or liquor to mix drinks on board (or do shots) in addition to the beer, seltzers and wine that are allowed on our public cruises.

Private cruises can request longer cruises or extend their cruise length depending on availability.

Private Cruises will be taxed at the 6% VA sales tax rate.
