The Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau is excited to offer local businesses the opportunity to participate in a fall marketing campaign initiative, "Surf, Sand and Study" targeting consumers located in virtual schooling districts to enjoy a Virginia Beach vacation this fall.
While school will look a little different this year for many families, the flexibility of virtual learning provides opportunity to explore the world outside the classroom in a safe and effective manner. Our goal in launching this promotion is to drive families to our destination and to your business. The campaign will begin September 8th and run through the end of March. Campaign components will include digital advertising, social media and a strong public relations strategy. In an effort to drive consumers to your business we will once again be building a list of special offers through our technology partner Bandwango. Here’s how you can participate:
Accommodations: Please provide a percentage off your best available rate and any additional perks your hotel/VRH would like to offer. Some examples might be complimentary bikes, free Wi-Fi, etc. In addition, please include any black-out dates or special instructions. Note: bookings will be made directly to your hotel/VRH either by phone or online so be sure to answer all items within the form including any booking URL, promotion code and or booking phone number. Attractions: You will be receiving an email from our technology partner, Bandwango, for you to input your attraction information as well as your value offer. Please provide a percentage or dollar amount off your admission and any additional perks your business can offer. You will also be asked if your attraction offers STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs or related activities. If online booking is required for the attraction, you will also be required to provide the URL and any promotion codes needed. Once you submit your form through their link, a representative from Bandwango will reach out to you to confirm your offer. Again, please be looking for the email from Bandwango either this week or early next week. Deadline to return your form is August 21st.
