Join us for an experiential study of sound and vibrational healing. Learn to ignite a personal healing experience by becoming a practitioner of this wonderful phenomenon.
Come experience the blissful transformation for yourself and take away the knowledge and healing modalities of singing bowls, gongs, drums, and more.
This Four-Day Intensive Training Will Include:
- An exploration into sound, vibration, and silence and how they can be used as tools for wellness.
- A study of various sound tools and how to use them including singing bowls (metal and crystal), gongs, drums, shakers, chimes, and more.
- Guidance on constructing your own sound practice for either self-care or to facilitate group sessions.
- Demonstrations on how to integrate additional modalities into your sound practice including breath work, light movement, vocal toning and more.
- Techniques for creating your sound space, setting the tone of the environment, a step-by-step outline on how to build your own session and tips for concluding the experience with grounding exercises.
- A review of Edgar Cayce’s teaching on vibration.
- Daily sound journeys conducted by Christina Grozik.
- A screening of the documentary, Going Om.
- A group participation sound journey to conclude the training.
CLASS PREREQUISITE AND REQUIREMENTS:
This training is open to all levels from novice to advanced. Whether you are looking to adopt a sound practice for self-care, to integrate sound into an existing modality you employ or to conduct sound journeys for groups. This training will explore an array of approaches and ways to achieve a practice that is unique to you.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Participants may find it beneficial to bring the following:
- A yoga mat, blanket and/or pillow
- A bolster or rolled blanket for under the knees
- An eye pillow or wash cloth to cover eyes
- A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated
- A journal or notebook
- Comfortable clothing is encouraged. Daily sound journeys will be provided which can either be received by laying on the floor or sitting in chairs.
- Shoes will be removed upon entering the room. Socks are permitted.
