This event celebrates the achievements of our ACCESS Scholars. Each year, ACCESS awards its own “Last-Dollar” Scholarship to more than 100 students. These scholarships, totaling more than $1 million, range from $5,000 to $25,000. This year, we will be awarding “Last-Dollar” Scholarships to our 35^th graduating class.

This event has featured keynote speakers such as:

§              - Wes Moore, Best-Selling Author/Rhodes Scholar; Governor of Maryland *

§             - Darryl Bell, Actor and Producer, “Ron” from A Different World

§            -  Don J. Carey III, Chesapeake City Council Member; The Don Carey REECH Foundation, Inc., Founder; NFL Division I Era Draft 

       Nearly 600 attendees, including students, parents, school officials, business and community leaders will attend the 2023 Scholarship Awards Celebration on June 22, 2023 at the Virginia Beach   Convention Center.
