Get a head start on your holiday shopping at the annual Virginia Beach Christmas Market! Featuring 175 fine artisans and crafters from more than 20 states, the market provides an opportunity to find one-of-a-kind gifts – including fine arts, pottery, jewelry, stained glass, toys, photography, Christmas collectibles and so much more. Whether you’re searching for personalized stocking stuffers, unique gifts or a stunning floral centerpiece for your holiday dinner, you’ll find it here. What mysteries lie beneath our feet? What secrets will they tell? There’s only one way to find out! Join CTHR on a “Journey to the Center of the Earth” for an unforgettable afternoon for adventurers of all ages (ages four and up recommended). Masterworks II: Winter Dreams

In a mix of flurry snow and ice, Symphonicity will showcase old masterpieces with contemporary aesthetics during Masterworks II: Winter Dreams at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts. Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain,” a familiar tune used in Disney’s “Fantasia,” will open the afternoon concert followed by a Swedish trombone concerto by Robert Conquer. Robert appears by special arrangement with Curtis on Tour, the Nina von Maltzahen global touring initiative of the Curtis Institute of Music. The concert will conclude with Tchaikovsky’s beautiful “Symphony No. 1” (Winter Dreams). The show begins at 3 p.m. (doors open at 2 p.m.). More than Shelter
“More Than Shelter” debuts new artworks by eleven invited artists, who were asked to consider what the idea of shelter means to them. The exhibition and related educational programming encourage members of our community to forge new connections with each other and gain a greater understanding of what it takes to weather the challenges of our ever-changing planet.

Brian Kreydatus: Homebodies
In “Homebodies,” artist Brian Kreydatus explores relationships and spaces in the time of a pandemic. These paintings and prints document and archive him, his home and his family during this challenging time. From messy tables, to Zoom meetings, to naps, to mindless internet scrolling, this is how he lived. In fact, it is how many of us lived.

7th Annual Coastal Virginia Auto Show

One of the largest car shows in the Mid-Atlantic, the annual Coastal Virginia Auto Show returns to VB for three days of national award-winning show cars, celebrities, live entertainment, prizes, giveaways and even a children’s area.
