Neptune’s Festival Symphony by the Seas Concert Series
July 10
Experience magical evenings by the ocean at Neptune’s Festival Symphony by the Seas Concert Series. These free symphonic performances by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Symphonicity take place at the lovely 31st Street Park. While there is only one event in July, there are more to come in August. Plan to arrive early to snag a prime spot as the concerts do entirely fill the park.
Beach Blanket Cinema

On select Thursday evenings all summer long, Beach Blanket Cinema puts on complimentary family-friendly movies right on the soft, sandy shore. All you have to do is bring your blanket or chair — and some movie snacks, of course — to the beach at 29th Street. Movies start at 8:30 p.m.
Beach Blanket Movie Festival: Fantasy Fest
July 15 - July 19
Beyond itsThursday movie nights, Beach Blanket Cinema is also hosting a special five-day fantasy fest This year, the festival will showcase several fan favorites, including “Jumanji” (1995), “Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban” and “Wicked”. Movies start at 8:30 p.m. at the beach on 29th Street.
Virginia Beach International Carnival
July 17 - July 21
Get ready for an extravaganza of color, music and culture at the Virginia Beach International Carnival at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. This vibrant celebration of Caribbean heritage features street parades, live music, island cuisine and costumed dancers, all coming together for an unforgettable, high-energy festival.

The Dome
