The Jurassic Encounter Dino Adventure

Dinosaurs at the beach? Seriously! Experience the ultimate dino walk-thru encounter with the whole family. Get up close and personal with more than 45 life-size animatronic and static dinosaurs, including the large-and-in-charge T-Rex, in the heart of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Experience dinos, games, food and much more daily, now through Sept. 5 (11 a.m. - 9 p.m.). Tickets are now available for purchase on the attraction’s website; admission for children under 2 is free.
Oceanfront Concert Series

Pick your beach, pick your entertainment! National recording artists take to Virginia Beach’s oceanfront park stages with weekly musical performances by the shore during the Oceanfront Concert Series, now through August. Bring your beach chair or your beach blanket for an unforgettable evening saluting all things music. The free performances begin at 7 p.m.
Beach Blanket Movie Series

Claim your spot on the beach, set up a comfy blanket or beach chair and take in a family-friendly movie under the summer sky during the weekly Beach Blanket Movie Series, taking place each Thursday. Movies begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free. For a schedule of movies, visit the event website.
Symphony by the Sea Concert Series

Presented by The Breeden Company, Neptune Festival’s Symphony by the Sea Concert Series returns for its 11th season of free concerts with a schedule of delightful musical performances. All of the concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and are open to the public.
Virginia Beach Funk Fest Beach Party

Turn up the funk with an electrifying two-day showcase of music, food and vendors during Virginia Beach’s annual Funk Fest Beach Party. The festival is free and open to the public, but capacity is limited. 7th Annual Coastal Craft Beer Festival

Celebrate and sample national, regional and local craft brews during the annual Coastal Craft Beer Festival, featuring more than 60 beers from 30 breweries, food trucks, live music and more.
