(January 15, 2014) – The Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) will kick off 2014 with a free forum offering engaging discussions regarding local and national travel trends, and what we can expect of the CVB in the coming year. Each CVB division will give a recap of 2013, and share ways in which industry partners can collaborate with the CVB in 2014. The keynote speaker will be Victoria Isley, Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer for Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI), the global trade association for official destination marketing organizations (DMOs). DMAI's membership includes over 600 official DMOs in over 15 countries that command more than $2 billion in annual budgets.
