“Exceeding the Standards” training features acclaimed Customer Service Consultant Brett Patten; Tourism job fair to follow
Virginia Beach, Va. (March 28, 2014) – A visitor’s vacation experience is shaped by each and every encounter with Virginia Beach’s frontline hospitality employees. To help ensure those experiences are positive and memorable, Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) – in partnership with the Virginia Beach Hotel Motel Association (VBHMA) and the Virginia Beach Restaurant Association (VBRA) – is hosting the new Exceeding the Standards: A Customer Service and Hospitality Training Seminar.
Nationally-acclaimed customer service consultant Brett Patten, founder of Five-Star Customer Experience Design, will lead a motivational and interactive workshop on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Virginia Beach Councilman John Uhrin will be a featured guest, and the seminar is open to all those in the hospitality industry. A free job fair, hosted by the VBHMA and the VBRA, will immediately follow the seminar. More than 30 local businesses will be onsite to discuss employment opportunities from noon to 4 p.m.
