Exemplary Ratings Awarded in Governance and Innovation Categories
(Virginia Beach, Va., March 5, 2014) The Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau announced today that it was approved to successfully renew its accreditation from the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP). DMAP is an international accreditation program developed by the Washington, D.C. based Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI). In maintaining DMAP accreditation, destination marketing organizations (DMOs) communicate to their community, buyers and potential visitors that their DMO has demonstrated a significant measure of excellence in destination management and marketing. “The Virginia Beach CVB is honored to receive the Destination Marketing Accreditation Renewal from DMAP,” said Virginia Beach CVB Director James B.
