The Rock 'N' Roll 1/2 Marathon will take over the oceanfront on September 4, 2011. Over 20 premier East Coast bands are set to play on 15 stages along the course to keep participants movin’ and groovin' towards the finish line! Runners and walkers will be treated to everything from classic rock to R&B and reggae to disco.

The race starts adjacent to the Virginia Beach Convention Center, runs through the resort area, and finishes on the breathtaking oceanfront boardwalk.
