    Boat Tours

Whale Watching and Winter Wildlife Tours

The winter months in Virginia Beach are prime time for whale watching. As the Atlantic cetaceans begin migrating, you have the opportunity to see them from just off of the coast of Virginia Beach. Because the waters around this East Coast beach are rich in sea life, the whales tend to linger for some fine dining before they head down to the warmer waters of the Caribbean. The playfulness and serenity of such massive creatures is like nothing else on Earth. Extend your stay in Virginia Beach and plan your winter wildlife adventure. The Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center and Rudee Tours offer excursions off the coast to search for humpbacks, dolphins, seals, pelicans and other seabirds, and even the elusive fin whale. The Rudee Wildlife Whale Watching Cruises and the Virginia Aquarium’s Whales & Wildlife tickets both start at $28 per person. More information

Children and adults alike can become a flyer with no experience at all. Simply book your flight time, get a bit of instruction beforehand and then prepare to take flight.
