  • Beaches of Virginia Beach

With 35 miles of waterfront, Virginia Beach has long been considered a "classic American beach vacation" spot. The Chesapeake Bay, Resort area and Sandbridge are three of the distinct beaches within the city where you can enjoy a calm, peaceful beach setting or be right in the middle of all the action. Whatever it is you desire in a beach, our lovely stretch of Virginia coast aims to please.

Soaking up the sun and good vibes on the shores of Virginia Beach is always free and open to the public. Unlike other beach destinations, no payment or permit is necessary to live the life.

And nothing’s better than an evening stroll or dining at a fine restaurant as the sun sets over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.
