Just blocks from the oceanfront, the Virginia Beach Convention Center now offers 516,522 square feet of flexible meeting space, a 150,000 square foot exhibit hall, a 31,029 square foot ballroom and 2,230 free parking spaces. Our team has already put the new space through the drills, successfully hosting major sporting events there including the USA Field Hockey National Indoor Tournament and the USA Gymnastics U.S. Classic, NHSCA National High School Wrestling Championships and the Washington Redskins Beach Blitz Fan Festival.

The Princess Anne Athletic Complex replaces the fields formerly at Princess Anne Park, purchased by Sentara in 2002. The complex is located in the heart of Princess Anne Commons across the street from the Virginia Beach Sportsplex and Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater. The complex includes eight lighted tournament–quality softball fields and seven multi–purpose playing fields (which allow for football, soccer, etc.), two of which are lighted. The complex also features two full–service concession stands which are open during league play and tournaments.

More than 50,000 out-of-town visitors set foot on these fields each year. Opened in 1990, the outdoor, 75-acre soccer mecca that features 19 grass turf fields hosts a number of soccer and outdoor field events. It's located less than one mile from the Virginia Beach SportsPlex.

The Virginia Beach Sportsplex is a state of the art, multi-sport/multi-use facility, located in the heart of Virginia Beach, VA. The newly redesigned Sportexe Turf field makes the Sportsplex a perfect place for year round leagues and programs of all sizes. Comprised of the Sportsplex Stadium, Sportsplex Field Hockey National Training Center, Sportsplex Criterium, and Sportsplex Athletic Fields, these venues provide ample space and top quality athletic fields to our community. Opened in October of 2001, the Field Hockey National Training Center features two artificial, international, competition-quality turf fields. Each field has a complex underground irrigation system and less than 1/16 of an inch crown from the center of the field to the sidelines. In addition, high-powered watering systems can completely saturate each field in less than 10 minutes.

The 175,000 square foot facility features state of the art playing surfaces, meeting rooms, a full-service bar and grille, and children’s play areas. The Virginia Beach Field House also offers sports camps, clinics and hosts tournaments of all sorts.

The Virginia Beach Oceanfront is an ideal place for a variety of outdoor sports, including sand soccer, beach volleyball, surfing, ocean swimming, triathlon, marathon/running races and much more.

The Owl Creek Municipal Tennis Center is the headquarters for all city tennis class planning, along with Parks and Recreation sponsored tennis tournaments. Amenities include 14 lighted courts, four practice courts, and men's and women's shower facilities. The center also has a pro shop with tennis apparel, racquet repairs and stringing service.

The Virginia Beach National is a 7,432-yard course designed by Pete Dye for both tournament and public play -- and was the host to the Virginia Beach Open on the Nationwide Tour. Native hardwoods give the course a sense of maturity, and the variety of grasses used in the out-of-play areas offer a unique look as they wave in the ever-present winds.
