    Development of Rudee Loop, a 10-acre parcel bordering the Resort Area and Rudee Inlet 

    VISION: A high-density mixed-use private development featuring a four-star hotel, luxury condominiums, upscale dining, specialty retail, public parking and open space with walkways and bike paths.


    Development of three blocks centrally located in the City's Resort Area as a multi-venue destination entertainment complex of the highest quality. To include primarily entertainment venues, with a mix of retail, restaurants and a parking structure located within a quarter mile of the Convention Center 

    VISION: To help further shape Virginia Beach as a year-round destination for leisure and business travelers, the city is seeking to create additional entertainment offerings at the oceanfront.

    Multi-Venue Entertainment District


    Development of a pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use entertainment district that connects the Convention Center with the heart of Virginia Beach's Resort Area 

    VISION: Retail, Restaurants, multi-family housing along with an indoor activity center in the heart of the Resort Area and introduction of light rail transit connecting the Oceanfront to Town Center and Norfolk.
