An Imani Winds concert is a shared musical adventure: you may begin alongside a bluesy Delta river, detour to an 18th century palace, wander the Middle Eastern desert, or glide into the embrace of an Argentine tango. Wherever their music takes you, the artistry is sublime, the commentary informed and witty, and the whole affair replete with one delightful surprise after another.
