The 15th Annual 200+ Scholars Breakfast is the region's premier event honoring black male academic excellence. Since 1998, more than 5,200 African American males graduating from public and private high schools with a 3.0 or better grade point average have been hailed. Many have shared in the more than approximately $11 million in scholarships announced at the event by colleges and universities that have accepted them and by the Gates Millennium Foundation.
